Source Energy HR Department
[The scene opens in a nondescript office. Sitting at a desk is a man in a business suit. He is sitting directly in front of a window and bright sunlight shines through and lights him from behind making it difficult to see his face. There is a knock at the door, a woman hesitantly enters in a slightly rumpled dress skirt with matching blazer.]
Mr. Source: Welcome to Source Energy, how can I help you?
Ms. Body: Er...yes. I'm...uh...I'm here about the advertisement.
Mr. Source: Ah, yes, the add. New approach we're taking. Please have a seat. Can I get your name?
Ms. Body: [Sitting down across from Mr. Source] P. Body.
Mr. Source: Well, Ms. Peabody...
Ms. Body: It's 'Ms. Body.' P. is my first initial.
Mr. Source: [smiling broadly] How very appropriate. So, Ms. Body, when can you start?
Ms. Body: I...I don't understand...you mean I already have the job?
Mr. Source: Well, yes. Ask and you receive.
Ms. Body: It's just that, well, you know, usually there's an application process and an interview.
Mr. Source: An interview? I see....what kind of questions would you like me to ask?
Ms. Body: [She shifts uneasily in her chair] Come again?
Mr. Source: I'm happy to ask you anything you want. What kind of questions were you hoping to be asked?
Ms. Body: You know, normal questions...about my career goals, background, my experience...typical interview questions.
Mr. Source: Tell me about your career goals. What would your ideal career be?
Ms. Body: Oh, yes...well, um, I'm not exactly sure yet...I'm still exploring my options...
Mr. Source: That will be perfect. We always need more explorers. You're hired.
Ms. Body: Well, thank you...um...what exactly would an explorer do?
Mr. Source: I'm sure I wouldn't know...that would be entirely up to you. What would you like to explore?
Ms. Body: I'm going to have to think about that...can I get back to you on that?
